Paint, Create and Congregate was created in 2016 incorporating my love of painting and all things creative to build a painting community with people of all ages and abilities together in congregating for creative social fun. Our youngest participant is 5 and most senior is 85. How good is that!

Vanessa Marr is an Artist and an Art Teacher and has been creating and sharing her love of art, colour and creativity for many years through mixed media art teachings through workshops and private classes. In this time, she has been able to share her passion for exploration, experimentation, and upcycling of materials in her teachings and her own artwork and designs.  Knowing she is part of the creative journey, growth, and experience of her students of all ages in creating their own styles, and successes through their artworks is her greatest satisfaction.

Her students are kept engaged and motivated through the encouragement of fun, imagination, and experimentation by the magic of interactive and tactile learning.

In her years of experience teaching, Vanessa has had the pleasure of seeing children and adults grow within their art experiences through social, interactive learning, self-motivation and success.

Vanessa’s own artworks and style are inspired by the sea and uses a mixture of watercolour, acrylics, and inks to various tactile mediums and objects in creating her art pieces. Her love of COLOUR and NATURE, capturing the colour and the essence of the subject to create the illusion of movement and space using rich pigments is her passion.

Vanessa has exhibited and entered art competitions and exhibitions across Sydney, Wollongong to South Coast NSW and her artworks displayed in the UK, various Hotel Foyers to offices across Sydney.
