GENERAL
What does the price include? Does the price include art materials?
Prices for adult workshops and children’s workshops include all materials required in completing an art piece at the booked event. All materials include an apron, canvas, paints and brushes to use during workshop.
What else comes with the price of the workshop?
The adults’ workshops include a single complimentary beverage and a snack. The children’s workshops include a complimentary treat (either a soft drink, an ice cream or lollies – this is decided on the day of the event)
Is Paint, Create and Congregate registered as a NSW Creative Kids provider?

How many participants are in each workshop?
There is a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 50 in all workshops.
Can I do one workshop to see if I like it?
Certainly, come and have ago and meet some likeminded people. Beginners most welcome as it is a step by step instructional process. Still required to pay the full workshop amount.
Do I get a refund if I change my mind or if something comes up and I miss a workshop?
We do not offer refunds for cancellations, change of circumstances, however, you may change it to a make up workshop (must be used with a 3 month period). For transferable conditions to another party please contact us to discuss.
What should I wear?
We recommend wearing close toed shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on them! We provide an Apron however, you are welcome to bring an apron if you choose.
Children’s Workshops: do I stay with my child or is it drop and go?
Children must be in the accompaniment of the adult, meaning an adult must be in the vicinity of the club (Panania Diggers) for the safety of the child and for us to adhere to our Working with Children Check requirements.
Contact numbers for the guardian are collected on the day of workshop in order for the children to be accompanied to the bathrooms for child safety and protection.
Are your premises wheelchair accessible?
Our Panania Diggers main supporter of Paint, Create and Congregate workshops and events has a wheelchair friendly access at the entrance and accessibility within the internal and external grounds of the premises, this includes the accessible toilet within the premises. Please phone us on 0403 359 169 to discuss specific accessibility needs and to arrange a visit to inspect our amenities before finalising your workshop attendance.
SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS
How much are the school holiday workshop and what is included?
The prices for school holiday workshop is $30 and typically runs for 1.5 hours. This price includes all art materials and apron, tuition and artwork to keep. The children’s workshops include a complimentary treat (either a soft drink, an ice cream or lollies – this is decided on the day of the event)
How many children are in each class?
We keep our classes to 25 children to ensure maximum learning opportunities. There is 1 art instructor for each workshop.
Do I get a refund if I change my mind, my child gets sick, something comes up etc.?
We do not offer refunds for cancellations or change of mind or change of circumstances. However, you can transfer your booking (of the same value) to another workshop in the future. Call us to discuss and lock in another upcoming workshop.
My child is not 5 yet, can they do a workshop?
We accept children from 4, as long as they can be engaged for a maximum of 1 hour without distracting the other children. We do our best to keep them engaged, in the event of a child becoming unsettled we will call the parents mobile to come and sit with them to try and complete the workshop. We are happy for them to create their own little masterpiece if required. We will do our best to make their experience a joyful one.
What time are school holiday classes?
We generally run these workshops on afternoon sessions from 2.30pm-4.00pm. Children have had a chance to have had lunch and the parents/guardians are able to enjoy an afternoon utilising the Panania Diggers facilities during and post workshop duration.
My child has special needs or has medical/allergy requirements, what should I do?
If your child has special learning needs or other special needs, please tell us at the time of enrolment so we can inform our staff and art instructor to make the experience an enjoyable one. However, if your child becomes unsettled or is becoming a distraction for the other participants we will call or approach the parent/guardian to remove from the workshop. We will do our best to ensure your child participants and enjoys their experience with us.
If your child may require medication, carry an epi-pen for severe allergies or have any other special needs please tell us at the time of enrolment. We cannot hold your child’s epi-pen or medications, so please stay within sight of child to monitor.
How early should I arrive and is there anything a parent/guardian needs to do on arrival when I drop my child off?
During the school holiday registration bookings, parents are asked to provide their name and a contact mobile number and will be collected again on arrival to workshop to ensure the number provided is current for that day of workshop attendance.
Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before the workshop start time. As set up will be underway and wish to avoid non supervision or possible trip hazards from set up equipment.
Do you run classes for parents/guardians and kids to do art together?
Yes, sometimes during the holiday period we have a few sessions that children and adults can do as a family. Each person must be a participating. 1 Child/1 Adult $70 or 2 Child/2 Adults $135.
Do you hold exhibitions?
Yes, we have a Gallery display set up within the Panania Diggers premises, with all paintings completed and donated by participants for sale with 100% of sales going to a charity affiliated with Panania Diggers.
We also do exhibitions from time to time with the artist being able to sell and pocket the sale.
